1. Overview
At HoraJnana, you have full control over your personal account, session credentials, and astrological data. In compliance with the Google Play Data Safety Policy and Google Cloud OAuth User Data Policy, this page explains the exact procedure to request the complete, permanent deletion of your account and all associated records from our servers.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
To initiate permanent deletion of your account and associated server data, please follow these steps:

Once your email is received, a deletion ticket is opened and our automated timeline begins.
3. 10–15 Day Deletion Timeline & Confirmation Process
Account and server data deletion takes between 10 to 15 business days from the time of your request. To protect users against accidental deletion or unauthorized requests, the process follows a structured security schedule:
Day 1 – Day 5: 5-Day Cooling-Off Hold Period
ON HOLDDuring the first 5 days, your account deletion request is placed on a security hold. If you change your mind or if the request was submitted by mistake, you can simply reply to the email thread within these 5 days to cancel the request without any data loss.
Day 5: Intermediate Confirmation Email
CONFIRMATION SENTOn the 5th day, our system transmits a confirmation email to your registered email address notifying you that the cooling-off period has concluded and the irreversible purge of your account records and tokens is now underway.
Day 10 – Day 15: Permanent Purge & Final Success Email
COMPLETEDBetween Day 10 and Day 15, all associated records, server tokens, authentication UUIDs, and database backups are permanently and irreversibly eradicated from all servers. Upon successful completion, a final confirmation email is delivered to you.
4. What Data Is Deleted
When your account deletion is finalized, the following categories of data are completely removed:
- Authentication & Profile Identifiers: Your email address, Google OAuth account linkage, and hashed credentials.
- Session & Device UUIDs: Cryptographic device UUIDs and active JWT authentication tokens stored on our servers.
- Preferences & Synced Settings: Ayanamsa settings, chart preferences, language selections, and custom theme modes saved to your cloud profile.
- Server Logs & Cache: Ephemeral server calculation logs containing device tokens.

5. Instant In-App Data Wipe (Client-Side)
If you want to immediately erase all cached data and credentials from your mobile phone or web browser without waiting for server processing:
- Open HoraJnana on your device or browser.
- Tap the Settings (Gear Icon) in the top-right app bar.
- Scroll down to the danger zone buttons:
- Tap "Reset Cache" to delete all local planetary coordinate cache.
- Tap "Reset Settings" to restore default configurations.
- Tap "Logout" to immediately wipe your session token from local device storage.
