By accessing or using the HoraJnana Web Application, the HoraJnana Android Mobile App, or any associated APIs and websites provided by HoraJnana and Skanda P R, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

HoraJnana provides specialized astronomical calculation software for Vedic astrological traditions (Panchanga limbs, planetary Hora timings, Vimshottari Dasha systems, and North/South/East Indian Kundali charts). Services are provided across multiple channels:

• HoraJnana Web App: Static Progressive Web Application accessible via modern web browsers.
• HoraJnana Android App: Native Android software available on Google Play (Package: com.hora.jnana).
• Calculation API: Backend computational endpoints providing ephemerides data.

3. Software License & Open Source (GNU AGPL v3)

The core codebase of HoraJnana is open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPL v3).

You are free to inspect, modify, and redistribute the software in accordance with the AGPL v3 terms. Any modified network-deployed versions of the software must make their corresponding source code available under the same license.

4. Swiss Ephemeris Attribution

Planetary positions, celestial coordinates, and astronomical algorithms utilized by HoraJnana consume the Swiss Ephemeris developed and maintained by Astrodienst AG, Switzerland.

5. Astrological Information Disclaimer

HoraJnana does not make definitive predictions regarding personal outcomes, healthcare, psychological well-being, or financial decisions. The calculations provided by the application must never substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice. You assume complete responsibility for any decisions made based upon software outputs.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

When accessing HoraJnana applications and calculation APIs, you agree not to:

• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load upon the backend computation servers through automated rate-limit abuse or denial-of-service attempts.
• Circumvent or attempt to reverse-engineer security controls or cryptographic protections surrounding client-side encryption.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

HORAJNANA AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, MAINTAINERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
